The Noordwijkse Golf Club is situated near the North Sea shore and dates back to 1915, when it was a 9-hole course. In 1972, golf course architect Frank Pennink created a new 18-hole course set amongst the dunes and just 5km north of the original one.
This fantastic links course has played host to the Dutch Open nine times, with winners including Seve Ballesteros, Bernhard Langer and Colin Montgomerie. The course is spread over 68 hectares of beautiful dune land with spectacular views.
Although the course has no water hazards and very few bunkers, the strong winds and undulating terrain make this course a challenge for all handicaps. The course is kept in pristine condition and is well-placed to play the other excellent golf courses in the area.
