Koninklijke Haagsche Golf & Country Club

1893

Founded in 1893, The Royal Hague Golf & Country Club is the oldest golf club in the Netherlands. The current course was built in 1938 by famous architects Colt, Alison & Morrison Ltd and recently renovated by architect Frank Pont, with most of the original features of the Colt course retained.

The course is laid out on undulating dune landscape with many uneven lies. It is a challenging course with tricky little run-offs round the greens and daring drives over ravines and gullies. Each hole on this fantastic Links course has a unique feel and completely different view. Many of the holes are dizzying in their scale, rising and plunging with dramatic proportions.

The course has hosted the Dutch Open on numerous occasions and is kept in excellent condition. An excellent course that will impress links traditionalists.
